There are some perks to having rich parents. Your parents making enemies are definitely not among them. Nobody knows that better than Amara Catherine, whose father has been making 'friends' with the wrong people left and right. When someone finally has enough and hires a hit man to take out the lawyer that failed their family member, it doesn't go as planned. Leaving a very curious and desperate Amara to try and find out who was behind her father's attempted murder. But Amara has some secrets of her own.
The life of a hit man is not an easy one, especially when a hit is ordered on a very high profiled individual. And certainly not when the targets daughter doesn't seem to take a hint, or seem to be the least bit intimidated that you just tried to murder her father. Talk about red flags, but to be fair Danny Roe's life has been nothing but red flags from the start, Amara isn't making that any easier.
