Five More Minutes With You

Kaitlynn Bryce and Sabriah Hale were only age 7 when they met, they spent every day with one another. Kaitlynn was there for Sabriah through everything she went through, Sabriah could rely Kaitlynn.

The two moved away from one another when they were 12, but one thing Sabriah encouraged her to do was join soccer to help her ADHD.

The two meet again not even a year later and they reconnect as best friends, Kaitlynn tells Sabriah all about soccer and the new boyfriend she has and Sabriah tells her all about the girls that have broken her heart.

At age 13, Sabriah and Kaitlynn are in the yard playing soccer. Kaitlynn began to feel dizzy and passed out during it, Sabriah called for Kaitlynns parents and they rushed her to the hospital.

Sabriah didn't hear from Kaitlynn until a week later when Sabriah gets a phone call, Kaitlynn tells her that she has been diagnosed with the rare heart disease Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. She had had it for 2 years so it was too late to do anything about it, she only had 1 more week.

Sabriah was heart broken, she didn't know what she would do without Kaitlynn. Kaitlynn defended her because she couldn't stand up for herself, Kaitlynn helped her stop lying and other shit she would do. She helped her through everything, how was she gonna do it without her.

A few days go by and Sabriah isn't talking to Kaitlynn, she hasn't been able to. She's been angry, angry at Kaitlynn for leaving her.

When she did speak to Kaitlynn, she didn't realize it was Kaitlynn's last night. And the last words she said to her were, "I hate you." After making a promise, to live for Kaitlynn.

The next morning Sabriah gets a call from Asher, Kaitlynns boyfriend.

"Kait's gone Speedie, she's gone" He said.

Speedie was always the name Kaitlyn would call Sabriah, how was she gonna do it Sabriah thought to herself. She has no idea what to do without Kaitlynn.
