The Ghost Shack

Exhausted and sleep deprived, a simple error in reaction time, put Simon 'Ghost' Riley, on mandatory sick leave after catching a sniper bullet. An order from Price, to get off base, left him searching for a place to recuperate. He never would have thought that an advert in a military bulletin board would change his life forever and heal more than his bullet wound.

Short story based in the modern warfare universe, but doesn't follow the timeline. This was a fluff piece I'd started to distract me from being stuck on another story. Rather than struggle to make a full story from just an arc, I decided to keep it as a short story. Enjoy xx
