The sudden change from investigating humans to androids is going to be tough to get used to, but you knew you could handle it. They also decided to partner you up with Hank Anderson, which surprised you considering he hated androids. You had nothing against androids, unlike you're partner, Hank. You had no reason to hate them, they had never done anything to wrong you. Most of them are actually quite nice, not counting the deviants. Hank had always been like a father to you, and like any other human he would easily get upset and angered, sometimes even lashing out on you. --- Updates on Mondays --- The Detroit police department in 2039 is a strange place. Outbreaks of Deviancy within the everyday android are turning this town rampant; and is turning the police department into a war zone. A hard-boiled eccentric police lieutenant, and his android, RK800 companion are no longer able to keep up with the cases by themselves, and request an additional partner. Everyone in the police department are already over loaded, so CyberLife creates a in-the-works android, developed by Elijah Kamski to investigate, analyze, and problem solve. And it's name is "Sean." A 16 -13 -1. Hank and Connor greet their partner with stress, and demands of perfection. Due to Sean being a project started by Kamski, there are somethings that set him apart from the normal android. There are multiple parts to his "mind" that come to serve his partners. Sean's primary directive is to serve, and assist these two in their investigations, but something deep inside of him has other plans. [Connor x Android!Reader] Detroit is having a problem with their androids, they are attacking their owners; Deviants is what they have been called. Cyberlife is desperate, they are afraid that having just one Deviant hunter on the case isn't enough. So they made a new series, RX400 model. It's a prototype just like RK800, but with more experimenting features. Now that both their Deviant Hunters are out there trying to solve the mystery, Cyberlife never expected the two to deviate themselves. F/N L/N was a detective for the Detroit Police Department. Her father was on the force and she decided to join the force shortly before his death 2 years ago now. She was born in 2012, and witnessed the first machine to pass the Turing Test. She'd spent over half of her life with androids around, she was used to them, she accepted them as a part of society. After the passing of her father, Hank presumed the role of her father figure, upholding his promise to the man he'd known for so long. They were partners and worked together on many cases. What happens when a spanner, in the form of the RK800 android Connor, is thrown into their lives to help solve the deviancy cases? After all, they all bleed blue right? TW for depression and suicide in this story. It's more prominent/spoken about from Chapter 5 onwards!

The one designed to find everything you're pretending not to be. And he's very good at his job. It'll take you 5 mins to read the first chapter, give it a try ;) I am very proud of this story! This may be written 7 years after the game's release, but I really hope all of you loyal fans are still looking for more content... My two biggest inspirations for this story: - Deviating and Solving Crime with 100% Human Detective Connor by CaotainKenway on ao3 for the whole android pretending to be a human concept. - Deviant Behaviour by Precursor - just general inspiration because it's my fave dbh fic of all time.
Like Fire and Powder
It's a rom-com with androids, murder, and mystery. When Fowler assigns you and Connor to an unusual B and E case, you do some sleuthing like the good detectives you are. One thing leads to another -- until you're suddenly dealing with an android supremacist who targets android-human couples. As the case progresses, you and Connor become closer, and you have to deal with feelings you thought you'd buried when it came to him. But right when you think you can have it all, shit hits the fan again, and Connor is in trouble. If you don't stop the perp, things won't just look bad for Detroit; you'll never have your happy ending. No biggie, right?Completa
