Modern day 2025 is a LOT different than what it is in our own universe... technology by the 1980's began to rapidly expand and by 2025, the world had technology as far ahead as half a century of development. Earth also became a Type I Civilization by then... it is unclear what will come of Humanity's future, but time will tell.
