The world is a cruel place. Parents are supposed to take care, nurture their children. Unfortunately, it isn't like that in Hickoryfern. In fact, barely any of the children born in that town are mentally well.
So, like any healthy person, Samantha Bridges started a summer camp, for children who have any mental disorders/disabilities.
Whenever the kids start noticing odd looking fungi on a tree, they soon realize that the town might be in danger, maybe even the county. After neglecting the fungi, they had to evacuate from the forest that the camp was in, because of a new virus that infects any living thing, and there is 'no cure.'
Will the kids figure out the cure? Or will the county, maybe even state, get wiped out from the Amanita phalloides disease.?

The boy has a small cut on his cheek and is thin, a lot thinner than he should be. I look away from him and around at my surroundings, there is no one else here. I regain my composure and look at him again. That's when he says something that makes my blood run cold. "Run."Complete

They promise to shield those free of infection. They promise a warm bed with food. They promise a purpose in life. And that's exactly what she needs. u·to·pi·a: An imagined "perfect" realm. Where everyone is content; where things get done by people who are happy to do them, and where problems that have plagued our world for over a millennium no longer apply. Uneasy Comfort.
So um this story may be on hold as I have lost interest and have no idea how to continue the story... . (Disclaimer, there is NO smut/inappropriate things, just cute and wholesome~♡ but warning, there may be some dark themes throughout.) . . This story is basically a sonic the hedghog fanfic. It's set in a dystopian reality. im still figuring out everyone's stories even the main plot. But I just go along as my mind pleases. The main 'object' that stirs this story is a plant, named the agony night floret, that infects living things. It was created accidentally in a facility by money hungry mobian scientists and main boss, scarlett the fox. she is the main 'villian', surprsingly not eggman lol. the agony night floret infects mobians, putting them in these stages. first a purple blue rash, then disconfiguration then having the chance to rott and turn into creepy lifeless zombie ish creatures, not hostile but really contagious. They roam around isolated areas. Or, they have the small chance by transforming into these cannibalistic 'flesh-gorgers', coming in different types, 3-4 times bigger than hosts/Mobians size. sonic and his friends travel firstly through the thick, white, winter forests, named 'Nobelwoods' in Nahada, trying to find the facility of where it all happened, while unexpectedly coming across a familiar haze of a huge mossy concrete structure of shadows old-old home. Burnt. It will be told why in the story. I have posted drawings of the characters/unfamiliar characters to understand better of what their appearances looks. thankz for reading this far if u have :) (I'm rambling abt the lore lol) . . . . Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three. All characters are mine but ellis is not I will be changing a lot of character names again in this rewriting process in all books, ellis being the biggest.Complete

She and Liam are falling hard for each other, but she cant be close to him, not after what happened with her parents. She is forced to stay on the run with them, trying to find the safe haven for kids, and stay away from the children's league, a government association who will stop at nothing to get ahold of Genevieve and use her for her powers. And as they get closer to grasping they things they've dreamed of for so long, Genevieve must make a hard decision deciding the future of not only her, but the ones she loves, one that may mean giving up her only chance at a life worth living.Complete

The town of Fairview isn't what it used to be. The town is under attack by a new type of infection, one that is causing the inhabitants of the town to become more aggressive and even attack each other.
