Poppypool has always been a loyal medicine cat, tending to her Clanmates with unwavering care and devotion. But when her father, Rowantail-a notorious traitor condemned to the Dark Forest-begins appearing in her dreams, everything changes. Manipulating her with sweet words and the promise of a better future for their Clan, Rowantail slowly draws Poppypool into a web of darkness she never expected.
At first, it's harmless-a suggestion here, a minor action there. But as Rowantail's influence grows, Poppypool finds herself making decisions that go against everything she stands for. Clanmates fall ill under her care, and suspicion begins to build.
