Lekha Prakash at 24 years old thought she had her full measure of happiness in the arms of her fiancé Aman Satrap, scion of the Satrap family. However, her illusions are shattered when Aman calls off the engagement at the behest of his mother along with accusing her of being a characterless gold-digger.

Lekha Prakash is a newspaper journalist who has crawled her way up through sheer hard work and is on the precipice of a major career goal when her past comes calling. Aman Satrap is engaged, caught at last by a woman who is his equal in wealth and social standing.
