PROLOGUE

"You killed my baby!..." cried Ishana, tears leaking her angry eyes as she pointed with her shivering finger at Avinash.

Everyone looked at her with pity, while the Knight eyed her desperately, desperate to prove his innocence.

"Why would I even ever do that?" asked he, his voice deep with the tears he drank back.

Ishana chuckled emptily moving back, before she moved back & held his collars tightly.

"Why? Why you ask me, eh? Why? Huh!... Cause you spineless man had no guts to father YOUR WHORE's CHILD!..." spoke she earning shocked gasps from everyone surrounding them while Avi stoned his being, guilt like a bitter serpent poisoning his insides.

"Doll..." called he softly, ignoring everyone. Who looks at the stars & the sky when the land beneath their feet is crumbling!

"You know what Mr. Knight, I, Ishana Rai Singhania is so done being your Doll!" saying this, eying his blank ones with her determined, fierce ones, she unwrapped the beautiful & yet heavy engagement ring from her ring-finger, a symbol of his lies & her love for him, & put it in his pocket, right above his heart & patted his pocket.

"I dare you to ever cross your ways with me again, Mr. Spinless Looser Singh Khurana!" spat she, hissing right over his lips as she turned around, her steeled eyes breaking in flames & dropping the molten silver tears, which she wiped, & rushed to her car...
