When successful businesswoman Sophia inherits a small café from her great aunt, she is forced to re-evaluate her life and priorities. Leaving behind the stress and chaos of the city, Sophia moves to the charming coastal town of Willow Creek to restore the café to its former glory. As she navigates the challenges of small-town life and learns to balance her own desires with the needs of the community, Sophia discovers a new sense of purpose and belonging. With the help of the café's quirky regulars and a handsome local fisherman, Sophia finds herself falling in love with the town, the café, and maybe even herself.

Max is over her ex. And over relationships. Really. She is. Just because she'd been in love with him since she was 16, and they were literally moments away from getting married at one point, why wouldn't she be over Evan? After all, he left her at the alter and absconded with her "best friend", Andrea. Max may be over Evan, but the little town she lives in, Brush River, is anything but. The nearly 2,000 residents won't let her forget their golden couple status, let alone live down the saddest, most humiliating day of her life. And then there's Sam. He's not quite a resident of Brush River, but he suddenly shows up, and starts to make himself at home. Quiet, a loner, and unforgivably good looking, Max can't help but wonder about his story. Why is he all alone? Why is he so content fixing up her Uncle's old, dilapidated farm house? And why can't Max get him off of her mind? Besides, she's over her ex. And over relationships. Really. She is.
