Apollo The Hedgehog

"Apollo is an entity who has resided inside of a copy of Sonic 1 since 1993. He has made sure that the game plays the exact way it was intended. But in order for him to continue doing that, he had to constantly remove energy from himself to maintain his appearance as Sonic The Hedgehog. He would store that excess energy inside of Dr. Robotnik's vessel, so he would never deform himself. After decades of using that method, Dr. Robotnik's vessel could no longer hide the energy that Apollo had removed from himself. It had become more and more visible in his appearance, so much so that he had become depraved of his characteristics. Apollo does not know who Tails Prower or Knuckles The Echidna are, so he does not have his own variations of them. His world inside the game consists of the vintage American style, because that was all that was available to him."
