It is the Medieval Period.

In this Period there is a war against the Vampires and Humans so far the Vampires have won nearly making the Humans restless and terrified.

However one fateful day Krul the Queen of Vampires and Guren Ichinose a Noble man who was the commander of the Human Army made an arrangement that Both their next of Kin Marry eachother hence sealing a Peace Treaty.

But both Mikalea, The Vampire Prince and Yuu The son of a Commander had their doubts and hated eachother at first but soon they slowly but surely fall for one another.
