In fact, everyone knew that she and her allies, Jay, Evie, Carlos and Mal, did. People made way for her when she passed, they cowered at her name and they shook in fear when she looked them in the eye with her permanently fixed glare. She was the one you had to be careful with if you dared to cross one of the five. She was the one who would threaten you and who would hurt you using any excuse she had, or none at all if she felt like it.
