As she stared at her father, a glare on his face, realization washed over her. She was never going to be good enough, no matter how much she tried. She could marry any suitor he chose, have as many children as he demanded, be the perfect housewife, and it would never be enough. "I can't believe I almost fell for it..." She spoke softly.

She felt so stupid. "How could I ever think you'd care, of course you wouldn't... You never have."

"You're unbearable!" He kicks her with utter contempt. "Please tell me where I'm wrong, causing you discomfort was not my intention," she said crying, causing him to hit her against the ground again. "Do you think you can live with good intentions? Didn't you have all the time you wanted to change and learn? You still dare to ask for more!" He yells at her with hatred, he blamed her for being the one will cause a woman to be beaten; He didn't want to be that kind of man. However, what he lived with her caused him to bring out what he hated the most about himself from within. -Forget it love- said a woman who was next to her- it's not worth it- this dog was supposed to be her friend, she was supposed to support her just like she did; however he managed so that he and she hated each other and thus be able to steal it. The woman on the floor does not know how much she was framed and harmed by her naivety, nor did she know that this was the beginning of her misfortunes. Because of that woman she did not stop suffering, wherever she went she suffered verbal or physical abuse and everything was orchestrated by this woman; she didn't know until she was about to faint. "Why?" She asked this unarmed woman without knowing why she hated him so much. She never did anything to hurt him. She just laughed viciously without answering him, she didn't have to waste her time with an insect; leaving La to die imprisoned in the house where she was kidnapped. "Answer me!" She got up from her bed screaming "Eh? This looks like my room; Did I reincarnate myself in the past?" She ran to the bathroom just to see that her assumption was correct. She thanked the heavens for this second chance by promising that she wouldn't be fooled a second time.

This is the ENGLISH VERSION of TAKING WHAT'S RIGHTFULLY HIS! "You're planning on leaving me again? Tell me, is that really how you see me? That after we made love last night, you would just go and leave me like nothing happened?" she looked down while trying her best not to let the tears that were threatening to fall from her eyes. "Answer me, damn it!" He said in a thunderous voice. She got startled because of his loud voice but she couldn't help but to feel resentful towards him. Why was he acting as if she was the one who did something terrible to him? She pushed him away from her. "Yes! I am planning on leaving this house because I can't stay here with you!" He looked at her with disbelief and....pain? "Why?" "Because-" she wanted to speak and tell his resentment towards him; all of the things that she's been keeping inside all time but nothing came out of her lips. "What? You can't say anything? Admit it Gaelle! You still love me but you can't accept that fact that's why you're leaving! You're leaving because you're a coward!" her tears fell. She couldn't stop them. Why is this happening to her? Why do they have to meet again after all this time? "That's not true!" She tried to sound stern and brave as she met his gaze. He smirked and stared at her intently like he wanted her to melt under his heated gaze. "I know you very well, chérie. I know it's still me and no one else. The way you made love to me last night told me so" she couldn't accept what he was saying. Her brain was against it. "Don't call me that! I hate you! I f*cking hate you!" She yelled and hit his chest with her fists. "I told you before, chérie; you're mine and always be mine. No matter what you do, it's still me, Gaelle! Only me!" he hissed and then claimed her lips for a punishing kiss. Highest rank in romance #17

-- PROLOGUE "Let me get this straight. We have nothing in between us, except for the deal we made that day" he spoke in a monotonous tone. "I am the one carrying your name behind me; we are married. how can you say we have nothing in between us? Huh" She yelled at him, tears blurred her vision, and she spoke her heart to him. "For god's sake, this marriage was to save you! Can't you get that? I did not do it willingly, I do not love you!!" He yelled back at her, shattering her heart into pieces. "Why can't you just love me?" She spoke, as she cried the tears of hurt, and pain. Her heart thumped loudly due to the shivering sensation She felt all over her body. "I never made a commitment to you, or gave you any false hope, neither did i say that i love you. Did i?" He asked her, in a very cold tone. She looked at him through her teary eyes. It's getting difficult for her to even breathe. "It was your eyes, the damn eyes. Who gave me the false hope. They say, "Eyes speak the truth," but what about mine? Couldn't you feel the sincerity within them, expressing my deep affection for you? Why didn't you see the love shining in them? Was it too complex to understand? Couldn't you notice the warmth as they gazed at you? They search for you in every corner, If only you realized how they silently echoed the emotions I couldn't articulate. They say, "Eyes never deceive." But what about yours? They played a trick on me when they met mine, painting a facade of a world that wasn't real. They made me feel loved, Leading me into a belief that crumbled, louder than your spoken promises. Why did they betray me? Was it your eyes or you that masked the truth?" He stayed still, not moving or saying anything at her statement. --

"Wake up." The icy splash of water jolted Jasmine awake, her breath hitching as reality crashed down. Disoriented and trembling, she barely registered a hand striking her cheek. The sharp sting and the metallic tang of blood grounded her in a nightmare she couldn't escape. Sebastian loomed over her, his presence as sharp and cold as the venom in his voice. "Welcome, princess. How do you find Montague's hospitality?" His smirk was colder than the water dripping from her face. "I bring news," he continued, his words cutting like a blade. "Your father has finally met justice-straight to hell." Jasmine froze, tears welling in her eyes. "No," she whispered, shaking her head. "What happened to my father? What did you do to him?" Sebastian's smirk twisted into something darker. "What did I do?" he repeated, his voice low and venomous. "I gave your father exactly what he deserved-for destroying my sister's life, for tearing my family apart." He leaned in closer, his gaze piercing and unrelenting. "But don't mistake this for an ending, Jasmine. This is only the beginning." Her voice cracked as she pleaded, "Please-you've got it wrong. My father and I would never harm anyone!" Sebastian's grip tightened on her chin, his unrelenting gaze boring into her. "Spare me your innocence," he hissed. "I should be glad he's dead-but I'm not because I didn't kill him myself. So I'll settle for you. Every tear, every ounce of pain, will torment him in his grave." Even as fear consumed her, Jasmine's voice trembled with defiance. "You're wrong. Whatever you think you know, it's a lie." Jasmine's memories were fragmented, her past shrouded in mystery. She couldn't even remember her father's face, let alone the sins this man accused them of. She didn't know where to begin, or who to turn to for answers. But one thing was clear: He wasn't just her captor-he was her storm. And the storm between them had only begun.
