In a world where quirks define destinies, Izumi Kei's lightning-based quirk feels more like a curse than a gift. High School, giving an opportunity to rewrite her story.

Thrown into the prestigious hero academy, Izumi must confront intense training and the fiery personalities of her classmates. None challenge her more than Katsuki Bakugo, whose explosive temper always clashed with her own.

Yet, as their rivalry deepens, unexpected moments of vulnerability, curiosity, respect and attraction draw them closer.
Izumi begins to see the softer side of Bakugo and his unshakable drive becomes a source of strength, pushing her to face her problems and believe in herself for the first time, while she challenges him to see the hero beyond his ego.

Through battles, heartbreaks and misunderstandings, the two discover that love can grow even in the midst of chaos.
