The main reason why he couldn't wait to be back home was Obi-Wan. His boyfriend. Cody still hasn't gotten used to calling him that but he couldn't really imagine his life without the other man anymore. At this point, Obi-Wan has almost moved in with them, he was spending as much time in Cody's house as in his apartment, if not more. And Cody wouldn't have it any other way.

Finally, they reached the house. Then Cody helped untie six shoes and helped take off three sweaters and then he could finally, finally, step inside. Obi-Wan was there, sitting on the couch with his laptop. Fives was already clinging to his leg, excitedly talking about a game him, Echo and their friends played.

"Hi, cyare." Cody wanted to go and kiss Obi-Wan. He couldn't do that with the kids there, they would fake gagging for another ten minutes, so he settled on squeezing Obi-Wan's shoulder gently.

"Hi, love." Obi-Wan smiled up at him.

I don't own Star Wars (surprising, I know), the only thing I own is the plot and my OCs, everything else belongs to Disney.

Since Qui-Gon's death, Anakin had become the anchor in Obi-Wan's life. It was Anakin who gave him purpose. There was no greater pride than seeing him surpass the other Padawans, watching him grow into the prodigy everyone had expected him to be. Obi-Wan had even allowed himself a rare indulgence-gloating about his apprentice's achievements, silently basking in the knowledge that he had helped shape the Jedi who would one day be the Order's greatest. But with that pride came an overwhelming guilt. Obi-Wan had never been able to reconcile it fully, but his attachment to Anakin-his love for him-was plain as day to anyone who knew them. The way he lit up when Anakin was in the room, the way he defended his Padawan even when the Council was less than forgiving. That connection had deepened over time, morphing from the playful, nurturing affection of a master for his apprentice into something more guarded. He had become stricter with Anakin as the years passed, holding back the casual warmth he once offered so easily, because he knew that his love for Anakin was becoming too personal, too dangerous. Attachments led to fear, and fear led... well, Obi-Wan knew where that path led. He couldn't afford to let his feelings slip into attachment, even though everyone in the Temple could see it. The truth was, Anakin was his favorite. He had always been. And that scared Obi-Wan more than any battle, more than any Sith Lord. But did Anakin know that? Did Anakin realize how much he meant to Obi-Wan? Or had he misinterpreted Obi-Wan's stricter behavior as a lack of affection? The thought gnawed at Obi-Wan. He remembered sitting by Anakin's bedside, wondering if he had ever told Anakin how proud he was, how much he truly cared for him. But when Anakin had finally woken from that coma, everything had changed.

Cody was used to looking after his younger brothers. It wasn't easy but he could manage. He's been looking after Bly since he was five. Then came Rex, then Wolffe. And then Fox. By the time, Cody moved out and didn't hesitate to take his little brothers in. They were better off with him than Jango. Then he found Jesse on his doorstep and not even a year later, Kix was also left at his door. Cody kept them, of course, but he called Jango and gave him a piece of his mind about leaving infants on the pavement in front of his doors. That was the last time Cody has heard of him. The next addition to his chaotic little family came in the forms of Fives and Echo. And it wasn't Jango this time who dropped them at Cody's, it was some poor girl that had the misfortune of meeting Jango in a bar. Apparently, Jango refused to have anything with her or their children but he was kind enough to give her Cody's number. Asshole. He learned of Wooley's existence through a social worker because apparently Jango left the baby alone at home for an entire day and someone heard him crying. Cody was officially done with him. Or so he thought. Because that was Jango knocking on the door and he had another baby in his arms. Just what Cody needed. #1 rankings that I might have or might not have lost: #1 in rexsoka #1 in codywan #1 in bly #1 in jango #1 in kid-fic You know the drill, I don't own Star Wars, the only thing I own is the plot and my OCs etc.

❝You have to place your foot here." Obi-wan lowered his soft hands to dip of my hips, firmly directing them while brushing my back with his chest. "Now, you have a balanced form." His hard, wet, breath rolled down the length of my neck like a persistent tide. A shiver ran through me. But his hold did not falter. Not as his fingers gently lingered on the curves of my body where he absently stroked my bare skin. Biting down on the roaring in my head, I bring my arms up to the defensive stance he'd been teaching me for the past half hour, feet sliding in compliance of his instruction. "How is this?" I breathe; completely and utterly distracted by the delicious heat of him behind me. So tempting against the cold ripples of wind that glide past the ocean waves into the tree's behind us. Leaning slightly into his touch, a rather solid mass pokes the curve of my lower back. As lighting strikes the ground, Obi-wan quickly removes his hands from my waist. I hear swift footsteps retreat a healthy distance behind me, leaving my back cold and bare. With furrowed brows, I turn to see him wiping away invisible sand on his cream coloured robes. Obi-wan clears his throat. Unwilling to look me in the eyes he quietly says, "Perfect.❞ ᴏʙɪ-ᴡᴀɴ ᴋᴇɴᴏʙɪ ꜰᴀɴ ꜰɪᴄᴛɪᴏɴ #1 obi-wan story (at some point)
