Get engaged to Ronald Weasley.
Get a ministry internship.
Get a job at the ministry.
Work as a machine.
Get married to Ronald Weasley.
Become ministry of magic.
But that was before the war.
Now, all of her friends had moved on with their lives and she was stuck at the same place she was the day after the war ended.
Hermione wasn't the Golden Girl anymore. She hasn't achieved all the things that she planned and now she survived day by day in a job she didn't love, distant from her friends and with a missing piece in her chest that nothing seemed to complete.
That was until she bumped into Draco Malfoy.
Now she was burning with curiosity about the former death eather, risking all of her self preservation to get to know him better, but apparently he didn't mind keeping her around.
