Princess Visenya Targaryen, the only daughter of Baelor Targaryen, has spent a decade in the North, raised by the stern honour of Winterfell under the watchful eye of Cregan Stark. When suddenly a royal summon orders her back to King's Landing by command of King Viserys I, Visenya is thrust from her quiet northern home into the heart of courtly intrigue. As the question of succession ignites the realm, and war looms over the Iron Throne, Visenya must choose between the values that shaped her and the blood that binds her. As this is a fan fiction story, timelines, events and characters featured throughout House of the Dragon/ Fire and Blood/ A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms have been altered to fit this storyline. This story does not strictly stick to canon timelines, however, it will loosely follow a similar storyline in context to the Succession and the Dance of the Dragons.
