A young man, barely out of high school, is plunged into a world of chaos as the dead rise and society falls. He ends up in a survival camp outside of Atlanta as he desperately attempts to keep his loved ones safe in a world where if you don't fight, you die.
    
    Author's note: This work will loosely follow the progression of the television show but there will be some deviation to allow it to be an original work. Just a warning going in, if you are familiar with my work you will know there will be graphic depictions of violence, murder, mayhem, sex and other mature themes. I try not to shy away from 'realism' in my work, so best avoid it if you're under 18 or squeamish. Now that's been covered I hope you enjoy the story and please vote and comment if you do.
