Noah Benally is an 18 year old who lost everything in a car wreck, his father, grandfather and twin brother all died on the way back from a camping trip. Kaiah Fitzgerald is the eldest daughter of an Irish born catholic preacher, she never knew her mother, for she died  in childbirth. Her search for her mothers family, and their history brings her to Tuba City in Arizona where her mother supposedly grew up. There she meets Noah, and immediately falls in love with the bad boy that all of the town talks about.

Through the pain of loss, and the confusion of not knowing oneself can these two star crossed lovers find love in one another? Can they find healing and peace in each others arms? Will they stop at nothing to find one another? Or are they doomed to find pain in each others absence.
