This is supposed to be a standard fairy tale story.

The prince saves the princess from the dragon. They get married and live happily ever after. 

But things can never be that easy. For one, the only way to save the princess from the dark dimension is to use magic which August's father had outlawed in their kingdom. Secondly, the spell to free the princess from her tower was in Lux's Grimoire which nobody knew the whereabouts of. Thirdly, he can't solve either of these things without a cheeky pirate.

August just wants to save the princess and start his duties as a prince, but things keep get thrown at him. Warrior fairies, pixie fighting rings, mermaid gangs, elven ancient prophecies, druid arms dealers, and that damned crazy ass pirate!

After all, Elena did end up on the bottom of a hill in the middle of a forest, suffering several injuries. But do not worry, fate loves a rebel and has something magical stored for our sarcastic heroine. Time travel. An adventure in the 16th century was not something our main character had in mind, but when her path is built with music and joy, it can't be that bad, right? Oh, who am I kidding. . .
