The U.S. government holds deadly games to control the population for the first time. This is completely new, and everyone is panicking. Fifty thousand people are chosen, but only a hundred can survive. This year, Marybell is one of the chosen.
Marybell's life changes as she enters the dangerous games. She must use her strength, intelligence, and courage to survive. Along the way, she makes friends and enemies, and discovers secrets about the games.
