An exiled Spanish amateur, Juan Fernandos, finds himself stuck serving a power-hungry friar in the easternmost colony of the empire. His current problem: Find the culprit of the recent destruction of towns around Manila in five months, or die. With the help of a local fisherman, Isidro, who joins his quest for a reason unknown to Juan, the duo must sift through documents, alleyways, and rice fields to escape the looming knot slowly tightening around their necks. This is a project for our English class. I might upload more chapters if people are interested.

Wampy, our main character, got lost. Or rather, got invisible. Unseen. Even when surrounded by his fellows. Helpless by the lot that fell upon him, his anxiety kept growing as the thought of being stuck in his situation kept lingering. His friends made the journey to their fellow creatures, higher than them to ask for help. But no one could do something about it. ~ There is no worst feeling than to feel alone. Especially in a crowd. To feel out of place, a misfit, or misunderstood. Wampy's story could be ours too. But the question is: Was he found? Perhaps. And maybe you'll be, too. If you come and join the worms look for the one that got lost. 💛
