The servants had experienced their Commander's sudden unexplainable fits of rage, and heard him talking to himself as if to another. He was feared by all except the ruler of Hell herself, so no one else dared to make conversation. Instead, they quietly questioned each other whether Pye was simply insane. Pye knew he needed some time alone to figure out how to deal with his brother. So as soon as they created the Gate, he stepped through. Hopefully this world will give him the quiet and privacy needed to think. However, luck was not on his side, and Pye found himself in a world with barely any magic. He must learn this world's language and culture, survive the brewing civil war, and find a way back to Hell. The fact that he managed to catch the young Emperor's lustful attention did not help his cause at all. ------- Book Two in the NinethHeaven series.
