I guess I just liked how she had to put every last bit of her cigarette out to be satisfied. She smelled of smoke and lavender perfume, but I loved it. I couldn't explain why I wanted her, I just knew that the affection I had for her deepened more each day, and I couldn't stop it. She wanted the world, but she was the world to me, and I just wanted her.

She gazed into her dark brown eyes with lust and pain. A rose as red as her tainted lips she'd put behind her ear, still holding it there, never wanting to let go. She put her forehead against hers as she whispered "You're just like a rose, beautiful but when you come too close you sting, not wanting others to see the pain behind your beauty. But you know what, I'm not scared, I won't give up on you no matter how much you make me bleed." Have you ever felt so broken that you couldn't pull yourself out of bed and continue to live your life like you used to. I was only 7 when I met her, but we had an instant connection. We were inseperable. She was always happy and joyful around me, but me on the other hand, I was a completely different story. I suffered a disorder that caused me to have no emotions. I told her my condition and she understood, but one day she dissapeared, I didn't feel sad, worried or angry like I should have. I made a promise, a commitment, a vow, and an oath that I'd never fall into the brutality they call love ever again, as it is something not to be toyed with. Think of it this way: Love is like a scented candle. The candle stick and the waxed aroma make the candle itself. Then it's ignited by a great inferno, and together, they make a beautiful thing. It burns for a long time, but then it loses that flame, that spark that ignited the creature. I guess the two most important ingredients gave up on each other.
