Lucy was the girl who was branded ' invisible'.  The school's quiet girl, until she met Emily Parks, wild and unpredictable but also the perfect best friend. Someone to finally make her stand out.

For two years Emily and Lucy have been the best of friends imaginable, inseparable and always together through thick and thin. Even though they are almost the opposite of characters Emily is the bold, daring and vibrant one whilst Lucy is shyer and reserved. 

With Lucy's father's world beginning to slip away from him, struggling to come to terms with her parent's divorce and the ' new boy ' Tristian confusing her, Lucy's life is far from straightforward. Everything seems broken, Emily is the only thing holding Lucy together.
But over a series of events Emily's lies start catching up with her and the friendship she has built could be lost in a heartbeat.
