The Exiles are the ones who have always thought there was something more than this prison everyone so gleefully called home. The Leader of the Surfacers didn't like this, as he was the only one who knew, so he punished them by sending them under ground. Forever.

Akira, daughter of the leader of  Exiles, lives in a post-apocalyptic society. It is told that there is no other land there except for their island of Brys, but she dosen't believe that. None of the Exiles do.
