"Did you miss me?" I said, standing before my best friend, Five.
"Of course not, you dimwit!" He says sarcastically before pulling me into a tight embrace with no intention of letting go anytime soon.

Vanessa Hargreeves goes into a coma after she almost drowns on a mission, which is very weird considering the fact that she physically cannot drown because she has hydrokinesis (the ability to manipulate water sources with one's mind). 3 years after she went into a coma, her best friend Five goes missing. 17 years later, she wakes up from her coma and finds out that her dad and brother died and her best friend is missing, only for him to show up on the courtyard moments later, by a blue portal.

How did she drown?
Where did Five go?
Why did she only wake up now?
