I rushed toward the restroom, locking myself in a stall.

Surely, he wouldn't follow me here.

"I'll find you anyway, Red," his voice echoed through the bathroom. "Don't make me drag you out."

My heart raced as I heard him checking each stall, his footsteps growing louder. Then, my door burst open.

"Here you are," he said, smiling like the devil himself.

I screamed and hurled my purse at him, but he caught it effortlessly. "Woah, easy there, kitten. I'm not here to hurt you. At least not yet."

"What do you want from me?" I hissed, backing away as far as the cramped stall would allow.

He leaned in, his hand sliding up my shirt while the other gripped the back of my neck. "Relax," he murmured, his breath warm against my skin.
