Stepping out of her comfort zone had always been a challenge for Lia. She avoided difficulties whenever possible, preferring life to be as straightforward as ABC.

Though she lived contentedly, working in a job she loved, a lingering sense of incompleteness gnawed at her. That void was violently brought to the surface when she encountered a creature that nearly took her life. Her salvation came in the form of a group of young warriors-each with extraordinary combat skills and powers-who pulled her from the brink of death and the claws of Hades.

They whisked her away to an academy, a sanctuary where she would be safe from such creatures. Here, she would learn to fight back, protect others like herself, and face the monsters that lurked in the shadows.
