Genevieve grew up in the wizarding world, under the loving and caring arms of Minerva McGonagall. She recalled her childhood being the 'best years of her life' when she was asked about it during her later years. A childhood full of laughter, warm hugs and biscuits made Genevieve grow up into a kind and welcoming person, as she was described by people around her. Her mother, Minerva, always cared for her in the best way she knew how to; whether that was teaching her to be independent by making Genevieve learn a few advanced spells before other kids her age or that was by taking her along with her to work at Hogwarts occasionally.
