Yina is a young girl about the age of Kinich, who can speak to Saurians. She comes from the People of the Springs and loves to surf often. Similar to Mualani, she has a nice tan and lighter hair. Her eyes are a light orange mixed with a dark red, similar to that of Mavuika. She has three Saurian companions named Demura, Leafy, and Amber, a Koholasaur, Yumkasaur, and a Tepesaur. Yina spends most of her time adventuring in the wild or surfing or helping clean out the waters to be a better environment for the Koholasaurs. She meets Kinich after a trip in the waters to gather plastic.
