Project 36 was a spacecraft sent in the year 1990 by a group of thousands of scientists. There was no destination. "Go. Go the furthest you can and then come back." The point was to explore the Milky way and beyond, but after a thousand years, many forgot about that mission and thought they were all dead, except a few scientists. Lethon was one of those few and the most dedicated one of them. He firmly believed they would come back and he was right. On September 16th 2987, the spacecraft came back with only a young man aboard. His first impression of earth was bad, as the first man he saw, James Canes locked him up. Earth was far from what he heard in his family's stories. Things had change greatly in a thousand years, but if it was for the best or the worst, he had no idea.

Prisoner. That's all I'd been referred to as for the past seven years - I've almost forgotten my name. But I'm not a prisoner anymore. I've been given a second chance. A chance to start anew. On Earth. For three generations, the Ark has kept what's left of the human race alive, but now our home is dying, and we are the last hope of mankind. A hundred prisoners sent on a desperate mission to the ground. Each of us is here because we broke the law. On the ground, there is no law. All we have to do is survive, but we will be tested by the Earth, by the secrets it hides, and most of all by each other.
