In December 1860, London saw the creation of Grace's Fashionable Women Social Club, a groundbreaking gathering that aimed to change the way women were seen and heard. This club was not just a place to meet but a revolutionary space where women from all backgrounds aristocrats or working-class-could come together, share their ideas, and push for change. The club's beautifully decorated salon was more than a meeting spot; it was a launchpad for a movement to challenge old traditions and create a more equal society. Here, women's voices were not only heard but celebrated, setting the stage for a future where their contributions were recognised and valued. All the images and stories from each episode are my property. None of them belong to someone.
