In The Intruder, Max has been watching, lurking in the shadows outside Harrison's home, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Tonight, he's ready. Every movement, every flicker of light in the house has been memorized. His mission is simple: to eliminate. But just as Max is about to make his move, something unexpected happens. An unknown figure steps into the scene, throwing his meticulously planned night into chaos.
The story shifts between Max, consumed by a growing desperation to finish what he started; Harrison, oblivious to the predator circling him; and the stranger, whose presence throws Max's whole plan into turmoil. With every passing moment, the tension rises, and Max's grip on control begins to slip. The night turns into a twisted game of survival, where no one is safe and the line between hunter and prey grows dangerously thin. The Intruder is a pulse-pounding thriller that drags its characters-and its readers-into a relentless spiral of fear and suspense.

If Looks Could Kill
All of the men holding up the serial killer somehow manage to shove him into a police car. They lock the door behind him and Barrett lets out a sigh of relief. The police have got it covered from here. He takes his hand out of his pocket, letting go of his gun and zips up his jacket. With that, he turns and quietly makes his way out of the crowd of people. Everyone pretty much ignores him, still trying to get a look at what's going on in their usually still neighborhood. The streets get darker and darker the farther Barrett walks away from the police lights. Every other street in this town is still fast asleep, with no idea of what could have happened just a block away from them. But it had been prevented. All thanks to him. Barrett finally comes upon his car, and slips inside. It's already way warmer than the outside air, so he lets out a small sigh of relief. This mission is over and done with. Now onto the next psychopath.Complete

Not quite, Liam has an unwanted guest in his new house, and this guest doesn't want to leave; she seems to be telling him that it's her house and not his. She's mistaken; this house was Liams. After all, he's purchased it for an excellent price and has moved all his new things in there. She's the one that needs to go, not him. So why is it that Liam is unable to kick her out of his home? Why is it that she won't leave?! or is it that she can't go. Strange things start to occur in Liam's new home, something that shouldn't be happening, spooky things, things that would happen in horror movies, and Liam doesn't know what to do. He starts to panic; he's the only one panicking; the unwanted guest, on the other hand, just stares at him with a smile as she throws her head back, letting out a chilling laugh.
