Mysterious underground activities render her hometown too dangerous to live in. Citizens are disappearing, crime was increasing. The past she desperately tried to lock away catches up to her in the form of rumors and conspiracy, reaching out its claws to cling onto her, scratching open her scars that supposedly healed over the years.

Now her boss has also disappeared, replaced with a narcissistic man who is endangering her position. Hiding behind the facade of retirement, the young agent decides to investigate the disappearances and rising criminal activities, falling into a rabbit hole of twisted plans, threats and romance.

Patting down the unconscious soldier, she found his service gun and took it. She checked for ammunition and, seeing that the weapon was unused, removed the safety on it. Who knew if they would get ambushed or not. When she felt a pair of eyes on her, the woman turned around and glared at the man behind her.

"Instead of staring, make yourself useful and stand guard. I have to check whether one of them carries important evidence."

"We could both do it and be done with it."

"What if we get caught?! Don't argue with me and look around for anyone."

He only scoffed, taking the loaded gun from her hand as response.
