It's the end of the world. It didn't ask for it before coming into our lives. We've had to adapt. In survival mode, crossing paths with a stranger can be either a curse or a blessing. That's what I've learned from her, or because of her.

Warning this story is inspired by the game last of us and the character Joel who is in this story isn't mine. I change some details in the story and mixe it up. There is some mature scenes, explicit.

Ellie found traveling with Joel to be both rewarding and simultaneously frustrating. It was like talking to a cold, emotionless brick wall sometimes. So imagine her excitement when they run into another group of travelers heading in the same direction, and they agree to travel with Ellie and Joel. The most exciting part? The other group has a girl their age. This is essentially a Ellie/Reader slow-burn fanfiction. It's also a fix-it fic in regards to the Last of Us Part 2 because I have personal issues with it. Will involve spoilers for both games, but this is mostly a self-indulgent fic. The reader is unnamed and has no descriptors so pretty much anyone can be the reader. The reader has established parents that are involved in the plot.

This story is fanfiction to the game The Last Of Us (big surprise). Even if you don't know the game, I'm sure you'll be perfectly fine if you read the last chapter: Names, nicknames and explonation before you start reading. "Join old smuggler on his journey with a little girl, to find a cure for the Cordyceps fungi virus. On their way they meet a lot of interesting people and get to know each other better. Andrea thought she's lost her best friend because of what she did. But as it turns out Ellie is more then alive, she now has a purpose. She has to save humanity itself. Will Andrea be there for her this time? Or will she leave her and run again? Does she even have a reason to stay?" So in order to keep you hanging a little, I'm just going to say that this story is different from the game. But you're gonna find that one out on your own, won't you?

As Joel and Tommy seek shelter from a blizzard, they end up in your area. Not thrilled, but neither hateful towards them, you allow the two strangers to stay. By a twisted joke of fate, you three eventually meet again, facing the same enemy: Abby. She has always been a red flag to you, the cruel past with her has left heavy scars.
