Sarah Eppin is a young girl traveling with her mother from town to town, searching for work as a maid. Traveling from family to family, they finally find a new master in which they are desperate to please. Ever since Sarah was a little girl, she always listened to the stories of Tellers, who she greatly looked up to. Sarah fell in love with their tales of fantasy and their stories of young girls just like herself. She must find a way to escape this palace business and explore the world and the stories she so loves. But how?
