A girl named Terina Mikaere from Aotearoa, New Zealand has been through so much since the age of 5. Abused, beaten and degraded by her own two parents, Te Kahu and Pati Mikaere. They never wanted a girl and when Pati found out that she was pregnant with Terina, they knew that they would hate her.

When Terina was 12, her mum and dad were having a house party(like every other goddamn night). While Terina put her baby brother to bed, she heard the door creak open. She then ran back to her bed and pretended to be asleep. Little did she know. . . That was the biggest mistake of her life.
