Green Hills has been restored. Now Sonic and the crew are back into another adventure just when Sonic has recovered from almost disappearing for good after prism energy was taken from him. During this adventure, Shadow struggles with fulfilling Maria's wish of making sure not only others are safe and happy, but he is as well. Little does he know, he discovers Maria's wish for himself with a certain blue furball.

Sonic becomes everything to Shadow. Until he's taken away. And a new Sonic takes his place.

The blue blur especially didn't seem to care about his life, throwing himself into dangerous situations for strangers. It was something he admired, in a way. What started as curiosity, turned into respect and a longing of some kind. A mutual one the two had to address.

With the chaos emeralds being out of use Sonic decides to stay with the cat, but when they hear of the Wishing Star being real they alongside Perrito set out to find it. Along the way they'll encounter many enemies and potential allies, it's all a race to see who gets the wish first.

Sonic and his family try to get close, but he pushes them away. All Shadow wants is to bring Maria back, but that's impossible. Until some French kids bus breaks down in Green Hills and he learns about the miraculous and finally he has hope that he can bring back Maria and finally let go of his endless pain. Unfortunately there are people out there who want to use his pain for their own goals. (Hints of Sonadow but isn't really a big thing in the plot. Also I'm a Chloe good person fan just so you know)

The Equestrian-Christian Guard visit their friends on Mobius, having received a help signal from Sonic when a young alien girl named Cosmo crashes onto Mobius looking for the famous blue blur. With a much darker force looming over them, everyone is plunged into a war that will decide the fate of the universe as they look for the Chaos Emeralds, which Sonic had scattered during his first battle with the villainous Dark Oak, leader of the Metarex. During this time, Tails and Cosmo grow close and feelings start to develop, as does a sisterly bond between Cosmo, Creecha's daughter Grace, and Wallflower Blush, but with the Metarex War going on and Cosmo's own insecurities surfacing after facing a lot of trauma, those bonds will be tested as they travel through space to end the war once and for all. (Based on "Sonic X: The Metarex Saga." Characters don't belong to me, but to their rightful owners).
