We live in a world where we wish that night was not just a myth and that the moon was a real thing. A world where the earth no longer orbits the sun but rather stays still. A world where the Ocean was taken away as punishment because we were becoming too selfish.

In our world, daylight never ends. The sky is a lasting canvas of soft blues and pale yellows, never darkening to the velvety night we are told about in the myths our parents would tell us. The sun hangs in a permanent mid-sky position, casting its unforgiving heat over the land. Plants and animals have adapted to this endless day, but something inside us-something ancient and restless-yearns for the lie people say is called night. We sleep when we want inside our houses with our blinds that, no matter how much fabric we use, only dim our rooms.

The sea, now a myth in itself, is a place of legends and lost dreams. We have maps filled with empty spaces where it once lay, and stories passed down through generations of sailors who whisper of its grandeur and mystery. No one has seen it for centuries, and those who claimed to have glimpsed its vastness are often met with scepticism and wonder. Some say the sea was a realm of magic and enchantment, and its absence was the gods' ultimate reprimand.
