Wisened Village Elders warn of abnormalities, wild Pokémon acting unnaturally, strange weather patterns, signs which all foretold a time of great danger from an age long past. And, from seemingly out of nowhere, a young man with an natural proficiency with Pokémon appears, with no memory of where they are or how they got there. Pokemon: Dreams Come True
The Sinnoh region holds many tales about the great and beautiful Cynthia, the reigning Champion. She was renowned for being a Dragon Master, and her Dragon-type Pokemon were enough to bring others to their knees. This Champion was known as the greatest trainer in all of Sinnoh and also as one of the greatest in the world. But what about her family? Vali, the son of Cynthia, is fifteen and doesn't have a Pokemon. From ten-year-olds to literal preschoolers, there seems to be no end to the amount of new Pokemon Trainers each day. Ever since that day when Ash Ketchum won against his mother in the World Coronation Series, when she started to show more interest in her duties as a Champion and as a Trainer than her own family, Vali started to dislike Pokemon in general, as they remind him of her. But when a fateful encounter with a Pokemon ends up saving his life, something lingering inside of him awakens and reminds him who he truly is. But is this really enough to bring back the love that he used to have for Pokemon? Vali will soon find himself caught in the center of dangerous activities. He must go through powerful Trainers, girls, dangerous Pokemon, discover the secrets of his past and bloodline, and confront his mother. (This all takes place five years after the master's 8.)
When Lightning Strikes
A wandering pokemon trainer with too many scars to count, Reeda finds a mysterious pokemon at Memorial Hill that she can only describe as a beast--who she first mistakes as her old boss, Guzma. Reeda catches the beast pokemon with the help of her partners--Squeak the Alolan Raichu and Fang the Weavile--and realizes how much time has passed since she had last come there to pay her respects to her brother who had died there three years ago, and how much had happened since his death. As Reeda continues to wander, she meets old faces that bring her back to the past. How she escaped her abusive family, lived in Konikoni City battling for a living, and how she was recruited to Team Skull.
