Meadow Fields, Pennsylvania, is a very charming and well-loved town. It has good schools, jobs and lifelong inhabitants that will do its best to make you feel welcome. However, under that charming façade holds a dark secret kept for at least 60 years.
Carmen Lovell has recently just moved to Meadow Fields with her fiancé. They moved because of a promotion in Carmen's job, while also because she wanted some change, and all her relatives gushed on and on about Meadow Fields, and how it was the "perfect town". Naturally, her wedding was also to be set there as well.
While frolicking around and being familiar with all the nooks and crannies, her eye is caught on a gorgeous white dress at a vintage shop. She goes inside and immediately requests for that dress. The shop owner exclaims that the dress has an interesting backstory, as it hails from a missing woman about 60 years ago. Carmen thinks nothing about it, then goes home and tries on the dress. However, something phenomenal happens when she tries on the dress.
A criminal mastermind makes a bold move against a wealthy client to put himself in a position to retire in comfort. He has no idea what he's up against when a young widow, desperate to make ends meet, sets her eyes on earning the bounty set on his head.
