Anabelle Carter, a pheasant's daughter, longed to become a famous singer. But her dreams were put on hold when she was forced to flee from her family, making her homeless at nine years old.

Now seventeen, pregnant, alone and still homeless, Anabelle's dreams are still sitting on the sideline as she tries to make ends meet by singing at the local Tavern in exchange for a meal at night.
