"Nobody is allowed between these pretty little thighs but me....and if anyone tries...𝐈'𝐥𝐥 𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦." ~ They call him The King-a ghost who rules the world's most powerful mafia from the shadows. No face. No mercy. No mistakes. And beside him, his right hand: anonymous, lethal, and loyal only to him. Together, they are the reason the world stays afraid-and the reason it still survives. Luca Romano is the Don of the Italian Mafia, second only to the King in power, feared across continents. When he sets out to make a deal with the King, his interest turns quickly from business... to obsession. But the King's empire is layered in lies, and the right hand has secrets stitched into her skin. The deeper Luca digs, the more twisted the truth becomes-until desire turns into obsession, and trust becomes a game no one wins. It's not the King who keeps him up at night. It's her. The right hand with fire in her eyes and blood on her hands. But the King's mafia is hiding a secret behind the mask-one surrounded by a hundred others. And if Luca digs too deep, he might just uncover a truth the world isn't ready for. Love will flourish where it shouldn't. Loyalty will break. And not everyone will survive what's coming. Because some empires are built to burn and the deadliest crown... was never his to take. And the right hand? She was never his to touch. ~ "𝐒𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧... 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐞." ~ -Mature themes -No OWD -HEA -Strong FMC & Whipped MMC -Mystery/thriller/action/romance -BOYXGIRL ~ "I just finished reading 'King' and wow. Billionaire Next Door✔
I shrunk back into my seat as his head snapped towards me. He looked like his head was going to fall off. His eyes were blazing with rage. His face was set into an icy glare. His fists that rested on the table were clenched so hard his knuckles were white. As he stood from his chair so did I. I felt like the prey to the biggest predator in the jungle. I took two steps back for every stride he took towards me. I gulped again before shaking me head. "She's just joking Ace." my voice quivered as I took another two steps back. "How do I know that?" he sneered down at me, his body towering over me. As I went to take another step backwards, my back made contact with the wall behind me. Well great. Now I'm cornered. This is just typical. ............................................................. One girl moves to the big apple after her family disintegrates around her. All she has left is her one brother. Elijah didn't break me, just my heart. 💔🔨 So, the LAST thing I needed was to run into my ex's best friend, Gray on the street. Who cares if he's hotter than lava? Gray's a cocky jerk who seems to get a misguided kick out of making my blood boil. And did I mention the guy's got a chip on his tattooed shoulder even bigger than his inflated ego? Unfortunately, I just found out that I accidentally hired him to work on the BIGGEST campaign of my career!💀 But when Gray's prismatic eyes fill with heartfelt apologies, I don't know how to feel. It's messing with my mind, my career, my new friendships, and worst of all, it's hurting what's left of my ruined heart. The American (BWWM)
"What?" Ethan says in his all too familiar deep, rude voice. Ethan has pitch-black hair, is 6 feet tall, with a solid build. His deep grey eyes are glaring at me right now. His jawline is so sharp I'm sure it can cut through anything. "You hit me, spilling my coffee all over me," I say, pointing out the obvious. "So, what do you want me to do about it?" he asks, like he's done nothing wrong. "You're supposed to say sorry," I say in a duh tone. "And why should I?" "Because that's what people with manners do." "I know that, but you don't deserve a sorry from me." "Wow. And why is that?" "Because black bitches like you don't deserve it," he says with a sneer. "I have told you times without number to stop calling me that," I say, angry at his insults. "Make me," Ethan says, taking a dangerous step closer. I don't say anything but hiss and walk past him. I don't know why I expected him to apologize. It's Ethan, after all. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ethan is a young male about to get his first degree, he might look normal to the world, but don't we all have our demons inside.
