When Ryn is due to serve the rest of her life on Kessel, she makes a stand for her freedom. When a rogue stormtrooper helps her escape, Ryn finds herself trapped in a whirlwind of war and danger. Gradually, she adjusts to her new life on the run, and later, in the Rebellion. As she grows closer with Jess, the man who helped her escape, her values begin to change. She wasn't born a fighter, but if the galaxy's freedom requires it, she will be a soldier.

This book, while being a work of fiction, still contains real elements and deals with the subject of war. There will be chapters that deal with abuse, death, slight gore, etc.
