Imagine a book where you got to decide what is real, and what, exactly, is fiction. Danny Boy is the story of a teenage girl trying to fall in love with life again, where the reader gets to do exactly that. Details are based on real events, with aspects of fiction mixed in. You decide what the main character, who has a parallel in the real world, actually went through, and what has been embellished and thrown in. No characters are actually depicted by their real names. *** When unsettled Ariadne's mother gets an offer to stay in her friends B&B, she jumps at the opportunity. Ari soon meets Dan, a man with problems of his own in a world he has to fight. Ari and Danny join in an unlikely friendship, in a story of life and death. *** "Things started to change when I met Danny Boy." "People do horrible things all the time, unspeakable things. Things that even the cruellest of monsters from the darkest pit of the underworld would shy from. But hey, thats the human race for you." *** Remain loving, remain respectful.

Jude doesn't talk. He can't, even when he wants to. They don't want to hear what he has to say, and they only use their words to hurt him. So why even try anymore? Starting at a new school seems like the perfect opportunity to blend into the background, but it isn't far enough away to start over. Some people just won't let him forget about his past. The teachers don't understand. He can't tell them why. He can't say anything at all. Ross understands. Ross writes to him. Slowly, he pulls Jude out of his shell, waiting for him to say something. ----- Say Something is a story of overcoming fear with the help of friendship and love. As someone who has struggled with anxiety, I tried to do something a little different with my writing style this time by including a lot of thoughts and feelings rather than a ton of description and detail. I'd like to add that it mentions things like sex and violence but I don't plan on going into any graphic detail in this story. There is also occasional cursing. I hope you give it a chance and leave feedback for me as I post new chapters over time. Thank you so much for checking it out!
