In a world where Quirks define destinies, there lies a hero academy, U.A. High School, Y/n thought she had everything figured out. She was here to become a hero focused, determined, and ready to prove herself. But then there's Katsuki Bakugo, the explosive, temperamental classmate who's impossible to get along with. From the first day, he's made it clear that he sees her as just another rookie to look down on. His brash attitude and constant arrogance make it hard to even be in the same room as him, let alone work together.

But when an unexpected threat puts U.A. and the entire hero community on high alert, the school is thrown into disarray. In the midst of the chaos, Y/n and Bakugo are forced into a dangerous partnership, one that neither of them wants but both are stuck with. As they're pushed into life-threatening situations, they begin to see sides of each other that were hidden beneath layers of pride and rivalry.

But the more they fight together, the more they realize that they might have more in common than they thought. In a time when friendships and alliances are tested to the breaking point, the line between hate and something more begins to blur.

Can Y/n and Bakugo overcome their differences long enough to find common ground, or will the pressure of being heroes, and everything they both carry inside, be too much to handle?
