Gwendolyn Archer has three things to take down. Graham Maxwell is one of them.

The Maxwells ruined the Randalls. 13-year-old Stella Randall swore that one day she would avenge her family. Today that day has come. Stella, now Gwendolyn Archer, has infiltrated one of the nine Ivy League colleges in the US: Brixton Institute. Enrolled as a new sophomore in college, Gwendolyn's plan is to keep to the shadows and dismantle Graham's world piece by piece. Her plans become muddled on her very first day of school though, when a bad first encounter with Graham goes down in front of the entire school.

Suddenly keeping to the shadows isn't as easy as she thought, but, still determined to see this through, she's not willing to give up that fast. Yes, Graham Maxwell is devilishly handsome, but under that sleek black hair hides the horns, and Gwendolyn is determined to let the entire world see the Maxwell family for who they really are.

Life is a game of chess and to win she must gauge the king.
