Erika, a half-Russian, half-Japanese biology teacher also working towards a master's in education, carries her own hidden wounds from a traumatic attack that left her physically and emotionally scarred. Despite her outward confidence, she wrestles with insecurities and phantom pains. Her only refuge is the deep connection she shares with Nemi, which transcends into their shared dreamscape where they explore each other's inner worlds.

As their bond deepens, Nemi and Erika face their inner demons together. Their romance blossoms amid the struggle to heal and reclaim their lives. Nemi learns to navigate her feelings and reconnect with love, while Erika seeks to overcome her past traumas and insecurities.
